Terms and Conditions Agreement

When booking any Tibet tour with us (Tibet Roof Of The World), it is essential that you read our Terms and Conditions meticulously. Upon confirming your reservation, we will assume that you have fully understood and read our terms and conditions thoroughly. In fact, our tour contract/agreement clearly outlines the terms and conditions, and your signature will be required once the tour is confirmed. To safeguard your rights, simply send a copy of the signed contract back to us.

  1. Reservation requirement

Once we collaboratively settle on the tour itinerary and cost, we will send you the detailed tour contract. It includes all the essential aspects of the trip, like the day-to-day itinerary, package costs, service voucher details, the specific amount of the tour deposit (which is 30% of the total tour cost), as well as the terms and conditions. Your reservation will be tentative until we receives the tour deposit. Once the deposit is received, you’ll get a confirmation email along with a deposit invoice.   1. PaymentTerms

At the time of booking any Tibet tours, 10% down payment is mandatory. Before 30 days of your departure, a complete and full payment should be made. Traveling to Tibet requires some additional permits like Tibet Travel Permits, Allies Permits, and your travel agent ( Tibet Roof Of the World) will get that permits but it takes some time,so once we have received the full payment, we start the process to obtain those necessary permits and document on your behalf.   1. Cancellation Policy

In case, due to some uncertainties and you might require to cancel your Tibet tour, then kindly follow our cancellation policies to cancel your tour:

  1. A) If your trip was canceled due to natural disasters, political issues, or the closure of Tibet Travel permits, which are beyond the control of our company (Tibet Roof Of The World), there is cancellation charge of $100, mainly to refund your payment and we pay for bank service fee and our labor fee as well.

B)If your trip cancels before 30 days or more prior to the departure date, we will levy a charge of 10% of the total tour cost as cancellation fee.

  1. C) If the cancellation occurs between 15 and 29days before the departure, the cancellation fee is 25% of total tour cost.
  2. D) In case the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the scheduled departuredue to any personal issues, then cancellation fee is 50% of the total tour cost.
  3. E) If you fail to appear on the fixed tour date without providing any prior notice, the entire tour cost will be forfeited.

Please note: If you have booked flights or train tickets through us, the cancellation fees will be assessed in accordance with the policies of the airline or railway administration. Additionally, you will be responsible for any bank transfer fees incurred during the refund process.

  1. Alteration of itineraries

Clients’ interest are our priority and although our expert tour operators will help to customize or choose the most suitable Tibet tours for you, but in case, need any alteration in your itinerary or Tibet Group tour after the confirmation, we will do the modification on free of charges for the first three modifications (if there is no big changes in terms of permit) , but clients have to bear all extra cost incurred due to such alteration as some places in Tibet are not fully opened, thus, adding places on permit result re-submission of your permits to related government departments and offices. This also results extra work and process, hence, we charge $20/each change from fourth modification onwards.

  1. Travel Documents

As for the reminder, every client must posses a valid passport (Should have at least 6 months or above validity) and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of your travel.   1. Health requirement Fitness Travel To Tibet

With decades of experiences in interacting with numerous customers from across the globe, Tibet has been one of the premier destinations for millions of travelers. We will be thrilled to have your visit to Tibet. However, due to its geographic location, many may not be suitable for travelling to Tibet. So for your safety and to offer a wonderful travel experience, we need you to submit the doctor’s letters certifying your fitness from your country, as we are not responsible for any accidents that occur due to such lack of knowledge on your part during the Tibet tour.

  1. Luggage Allowance

According to General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, for the domestic flight, Economic class is allowed to take 20kg, Business class can carry 30kg and first class can carry 40kg. We sincerely advise our clients to pack your suitcase as per your ticket and we are not responsible for the charges on overweight luggage.

  1. Insurance

We highly encourage our esteemed clients to secure international standard travel insurance in their home country. Such insurance typically covers aspects like trip cancellation, emergency medical evacuation, medical costs, and lost baggage. While our company does provide a basic insurance policy for each customer, it is advisable to have additional comprehensive coverage for a worry-free travel experience.

  1. Complaint and claims

We Tibet Roof of the World is responsible for your trip in Tibet and we shall provide you the best services and facilities as possible, but in case if you encounter any unsatisfied or uncomfortable situation, please notify your situation with our tour operators or tour guide as soon as possible to avoid further disturbance to your trip. In case you have any complaints regarding the tour, you are required to send a written notice to us within 15 days after the tour concludes. All relevant receipts and supporting evidence must be attached to the letter for any compensation claims. Tibet Roof of The World will not be held responsible if such claims letters are received more than 15 days after the tour has ended.
