Mr Samdup Gyal Or Sam, who had studied abroad and returned to his motherland after finishing college and worked as a guide in Lhasa for more than 6 years, received excellent feedback from his clients.
During that period, he attended annual guide training led by the Tibet Tourism Bureau to improve his skills in service and problem-solving strategies. He also participated in Eco-Tourism Training to boost his knowledge of eco-friendly and sustainable tourism.
Then he joined Explore Tibet, a Tibetan-owned company, as a sales manager and served for more than a decade. With his enormous knowledge and practical expertise in Tibet travel, he earned a reputation in the Tibetan tourism market, and he became the face of his company.
With his years of experience in tourism, he started his own travel company (Tibet Roof of the World) with Mr Tashi to provide better travel services to more clients from all around the world.
