6 Days Lhasa Spiritual Tour

Experience the mystical charm of Tibet with this 6-day cultural and spiritual journey based in Lhasa. Begin your adventure with a gentle acclimatization to the high altitude, followed by visiting the city’s most sacred and historic landmarks, including the awe-inspiring Potala Palace, spiritual Jokhang temple, vibrant Barkhor Street, and the scholarly Sera Monastery known for its monk debates. Venture beyond the city to explore the serene Gaden Monastery and the ancient meditation caves of Drak Yerpa. Admire the breathtaking natural beauty of Yamdrok Lake and the snow-capped Karola glacier.

Included/Exclude

  •  All necessary travel permits to Tibet trip.
  • Entrance ticket fees for all the sight spots listed in the itinerary.
  • Private transportation in Tibet with an experienced local Tibetan driver: 5-seater to 29-seater tourist transportation, depending on the group size (car gasoline is included);
  • Private guide: English-speaking local Tibetan guide;
  • Lodging (all hotel rooms on a twin-sharing basis with breakfast only; single supplement will be charged to those who need a separate room or who do not share a room in hotels during the tour): 4 nights at a local hotel in Lhasa and 1 night in Shigatse.
  • Pick-up and send-off services at the beginning/end of the tour (No hidden cost), for once, extra services will cost CNY per time.
  • Meals: only breakfast is included at the hotels
  • Liability insurance.
  • First aid-kit;
  • Travel insurance covers trip cancellation and emergency evacuation (recommended to buy from your home country before you leave);
  • Expenses of a personal nature (alcoholic beverages, laundry, phone calls, etc.);
  • International and domestic flight/train tickets. (Note: We accept flight/train ticket bookings in advance. Please consult with your sales in advance.;
  • Meals that are not specified in the itinerary, on average, a meal in Tibet costs around USD5 per person;
  • Gratuities for the guide and driver.

Day 1 . ARRIVAL TO LHASA (3650m) BY AIR/TRAIN.

Stay overnight in Lhasa.

Day 2. LHASA CITY GUIDED TOUR

Attractions: Potala Palace, Jokhang temple and Bustling Bakhor Street

Stay overnight in Lhasa.

Day 3. LHASA ESCORTED TOUR. (B)

Attractions:  Drepung monastery and Sera monastery

Stay overnight in Lhasa.

Day 4. LHASA-YAMDROK LAKE-GYANGTSE-SHIGATSE, 360km. (B)

Attractions: Yamdrok lake, Karola glacier, Kumbum stupa.

Stay overnight in Shigatse.

Day 5. SHIGATSE - LHASA, 280km. (B)

Attractions: Tashi Lhunpo monastery.

Stay overnight in Lhasa.

DAY 6. TRAIN STATION/AIRPORT TRANSFER, DEPART TO YOUR NEXT DESTINATION.

    We always stay at here when in town. The location is great, staff is wonderful and we love the overall feel. Beautiful view from the here.

    It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
