Included/Exclude

  •  All necessary travel permits to Tibet;
  • -Entrance ticket fees for all the sight spots listed in the program;
  • All China custom papers work at Kyirong and Kashgar.
  • Private guide: English-speaking local Tibetan guide.
  • Breakfasts in hotels only,
  • Temporary license for the driver and a temporary number plate for the customer’s vehicle, arranged at Shigatse.
  • Welcome dinner for the group with a show.
  • Lodging (based on twin sharing): 15 nights hotel and guesthouse as per plan with breakfasts.
  • Pick-up and send-off services at the beginning/end of the tour for the clients, for one time, multiple pick-up or send-off services will be charged separately.
  • Oxygen canisters: Oxygen tanks for the group for the whole trip;
  • Lodging and meals for the guide at the necessary places during the trip;
  • First aid kit;
  • Travel insurance covers trip cancellation and emergency evacuation (recommended).
  • Tips or gratuities for the guide and driver.
  • Private transportation in Tibet: 7-29 seated tourist van to bus for the whole trip, depending on the group size, (car gasoline is included),
  • All Nepal/Irekeshtam side trips, border pick-ups or send-offs, and other services.
  •  Tibet Group Visa (TGV) fee.
  • Expenses of a personal nature (alcoholic beverages, laundry, phone calls, etc.);
  •  International and domestic flights/train. (Note: We accept flight and train ticket bookings in advance. Please check the updated cost and ticket availability with your travel consultant.;
  • Meals that are not specified in the itinerary are all extra foods, i.e., all lunches and dinners, and beverages for the tour (Averagely a meal in Tibet costs USD5 per person);

Day 1: Arrival in Kyirong

Nepal border to Kyirong (2600m), enter China from Kyirong port. Where our guide will assist Kyirong.

Day 2: KYIRONG TO RONGBUK (5050m) VIA PEKU LAKE (4600m) (B)

Attractions: Rongbuk Monastery, EBC, and Peku Lake.

Day 3: EBC (5050m) - SHIGATSE (3900m) (360Km) (B)

Attractions: After exploring the EBC, we will gradually drive to Shigatse city (3900m), 360km,

Today, our staff will go with you for the necessary paperwork for the trip.

Attractions:Today we are heading to one of the most beautiful lands in Tibet, which is often called Tibet Switzerland, and further drive to Lulung to explore its rich forest.

Day 9. LULANG-BOMI-RANWU TOWN (360Km,6-7 hrs.) (B)

Attractions: Today, you will have a few stops on the way to Ranwu town, where you can take photos and can explore the most beautiful glaciers in China.

Attractions: On the way to Markham, you will have a distinct view of Dongda Mountain Pass

(5008m), Zogang Grasslands, remote nomadic herders.

Day11.MARKAM-DEQIN-SHANGRILA(400Km),7-8 hrs (B)

Attractions: Today, you will pass by Meili Snow Mountain and Baima Snow Mountain Pass.

Attractions: Lijiang ancient town, Dali ancient town

Day 13: DALI-KUNMING (339Km) 4-5 hrs (B)

Attractions: Morning you will visit the Three Pagodas and Erhai lake

Day 14. KUNMING-XISHUANGBANA VIA PUER (520Km) 8 hrs (B)

Attractions: Today, you will take the G8511 Kunmo Expressway (Highway), stop at Yuanjiang for lunch, and view the Red River Valley, and you can also explore Puer’s tea mountains.

1: Tibet Travel Permit

Without Tibet Travel Permits, you cannot enter Tibet (Tibet Autonomous Region), China, but it is not difficult to obtain the permit, registered company like TRW, it can be easily obtain it for you if your Tibet Tour has been confirmed with a legit registered local travel company.

2: Alien Permit

Alien Travel Permit (ATP) is an additional permit which is required if your itinerary is in Gyirong, Kailash, Ngari and EBC in western part of Tibet,Tsedang,Nyinchi, Ranwo Lake, Basum Lake, Sakga or Shalu Monasteries in Shigatse area,

3: Military Permit

The Military Permits as you can see from the word, this permit is related to military department, thus, this travel document is mainly issued by the military authority in Tibet, in fact, this permit is compulsory for entering to any border regions between China and neighboring countries. Military permits are required for visiting following places in Tibet apart from TTP.

  • Ali (Far Western Tibet)
  • Guge Kingdom (Far Western Tibet)
  • Gyirong (New Border to Nepal)
  • Lake Manasarovar (Near Mt. Kailash in Far Western Tibet)
  • Kailash (Western Tibet)
  • Nyima country (Border country between Ali and Nakchu Prefecture)
  • Cochin

NOTE: This permit can apply only from Lhasa, Tibet, you don’t have to worry about it as our company (TRW) will obtain such permits on your behalf and you just need to cooperate by sending your scanned copies of China Visa/TGV and Passport to your travel consultant. Tibet Travel Permit (TTP) is the basic required permit to travel to Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), every foreign travelers must need Tibet Travel Permit to enter to Tibet along with your Chinese Visa or Tibet Group Visa. Though it seems very hard or confusing, it just takes few simple steps, and your travel agency will do the rest.

Tibet Travel Permit is mainly obtained from Tibet Tourism Bureau in Lhasa, Tibet, which contains the tourist’s information and confirmed itineraries.

According to the latest Chinese regulations for foreign visitors, passports must have a validity of six months (at least) to apply for a Chinese visa. This requirement also applies when traveling to Tibet along with Tibet Travel Permit.
